- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years progressive experience in financial services/cash handling and management services Preferred qualifications - Experience with PeopleSoft financial reporting system - Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting - Work experience at a Higher Education institution RESPONSIBILITIES The Bursar reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Business and Financial Services and is responsible for the functional areas of University Cashiering, Student Billing and Receivable, Delinquent Account Collection, e-Stout Laptop Program Management, Minnesota Reciprocity, Perkins Student Loan Collection, Sponsor Billing and University Cash Handling. CAMPUS INFORMATION A member of the University of Wisconsin System, UW-Stout serves approximately 9,300 students in 25 graduate and 45 undergraduate programs and one doctoral program. UW-Stout is a 2001 Baldrige Award Recipient, supporting a progressive, learning-centered, quality-based educational environment that is focused on continuous improvement. A leader in adopting new technology, UW-Stout is a digital campus and all faculty and staff are required to use available technology in their positions including course delivery.
